The Story
Caribou Crossing holds the distinction of being the world’s first single barrel Canadian whisky. Made from the finest sampling of a master collection of 200,000 barrels of whisky and designed to reinvent the Canadian whisky category.
Nose: A bit of leather, white pepper, dusty vanilla, and some airy hints of butterscotch. Very floral at times with wisps of unripe red berries.
Palate: Creamy mouthfeel with lemon tart with a walnut crust. Caramel and vanilla at the fore front melding into shortbread cookies.
Finish: Short but satisfying finish - tannins drying quickly but leaving hints of cedar behind.
